CrossWave not dispensing or not picking up water
Dispensing failures trace to the solution pump or valve; recovery failures to the dirty-tank seals and float. Both are repairable without replacing the machine.
Bissell sends us two kinds of machines: vacuums with pet-hair systems wound to a standstill, and carpet cleaners whose pumps and tanks have given up. We service both — brush roll and belt work on the Pet Hair Eraser line, pump and spray repairs on the carpet cleaners, and full service on CrossWave wet-dry machines including the tank, filter, and brush systems that take the most abuse.

Pumps wear and internal lines clog with detergent residue. We rebuild the flow path and run the machine on the bench until spray is back to spec.
Cyclonic spooling systems and tangle-free rolls still meet their match in long pet hair. We strip and service the separation system, not just the visible roller.
A stretched or melted belt from a jammed brush roll. Five-minute diagnosis, inexpensive fix, and we check why the roller jammed so it does not repeat.
We work by appointment. Call (804) 262-9683 with your Bissell model and the symptom — often we can tell you roughly what to expect before you drive over.
Your estimate is arranged when you call and holds for 30 days. If actual cost would ever exceed it by more than $25, we contact you before proceeding.
Quality parts, careful work, and a 90-day warranty on the repair. CrossWave system repair, pet hair system service, and more — all in-house.
Yes, both. Carpet cleaners are mechanically busier than vacuums — pumps, valves, tanks, heaters, spray paths — and they fail in ways that look terminal but usually are not. Lost spray pressure, no suction recovery, and leaking tanks are all routine bench work for us. Estimate first — just call ahead — and a 90-day warranty on the repair, same as every job in the shop.
Yes, stop running it. That smell is almost always a belt slipping against a jammed brush roll, and continuing to run the machine can overheat the motor and turn a small repair into a large one. Bring it in: the belt itself is an inexpensive part, and we will find and fix whatever jammed the roller so the new belt does not meet the same fate.
