Sebo Vacuum Repair in Richmond, VA

Sebo machines are built to run for decades, and most of the ones on our bench need maintenance, not major surgery. The most common Sebo work we do is brush roll and belt service on the X and Felix uprights, bag and filter system refreshes, and electronic height-adjustment diagnostics on the Automatic series. Because we carry genuine Sebo parts, a worn machine usually leaves the shop performing like it did the day it was sold.

What We See On The Bench

Common Sebo problems we fix

Brush roll stops spinning or pulls weakly

On X-series uprights this is usually a worn brush roll or a drive issue rather than a motor failure. We replace the roller with a genuine Sebo part and reset the height adjustment so the machine grips carpet correctly again.

Red bag-full light stays on with a fresh bag

A blocked airflow path or a saturated micro filter triggers the indicator. We clear the duct, replace the filter set, and verify airflow at the nozzle.

Automatic height adjustment hunting up and down

The Automatic series constantly measures brush resistance. When it cycles endlessly, the cause is usually debris in the sensor path or a worn roller — both fixable without replacing the power head.

Suction loss on Airbelt canisters

Usually a hose leak, a clogged inlet, or a filter past its service life. We pressure-test the airflow path end to end.

Sebo Questions

Sebo repair FAQs

Are you an authorized Sebo service center?

Yes. CFI Vacuum carries authorized Sebo expertise and uses genuine Sebo parts for repairs, including warranty-eligible work. Sebo machines are among the most repair-worthy vacuums made — with proper service they routinely run well past fifteen years, which is why we also recommend and sell them.

Is a Sebo vacuum worth repairing?

Almost always. Sebo builds machines to be serviced rather than discarded: belts, brush rolls, filters, and even motors are all replaceable parts. Unless the machine has severe structural damage, repairing a Sebo costs far less than replacing it and restores essentially original performance. Call for an estimate and we will confirm it before any work begins.
